Description
Located in the heart of Edmonton, Sir Winston Churchill Square is adjacent to City Hall and the Stanley Milner Library. In 2003 renovations to the square were begun as a 2004 Legacy Project. City Council approved a $12.6 million renovation of the square, including construction of a public pavilion, an interpretive centre and an amphitheatre. Sir Winston Churchill Square is located in the Downtown neighbourhood and has an area of 0.85 ha. See Churchill Crescent.
